Maple Tree Learning Center on the Davis Hill bus route and offers children a home like environment for your school ager to eat, rest, seek an activity of their choosing or socialize at their leisure. Some of the free play activities include but not limited to legos, board games, STEM activities, basketball, soccer, corn hole, wiffle ball, kickball, Fowling, rock painting, gardening, arts and crafts. We prioritize the needs of each individual and follow their interests the best we can. We encourage children to advocate their wants our needs to teachers directly by promoting an understanding of the importance of communication. Teachers also will be engaging in casual conversations and activities that involve Social/Emotional lessons both on an individual basis and as a group by talking about one hero and one character trait which they will learn to identify and apply to their own self and their world. Although this is a structured and planned curriculum, it is not vigorous and respect your child has been in school all day. Therefore, these valuable lessons will be applied in fun activities, both individual and small group.
We provide care before and after school, half days, school vacation days, and snow days. Including summer vacation!
