Maple Tree offers 2 classrooms dedicated to our Early Learners. One is specifically for children 0-15 months and the second is a mix of infants and toddlers.

Our classrooms offer large spacious classrooms with a low child to teacher ratio where toddlers have freedom to explore and discover how much they can do in a safe environment. As they attune their newly acquired skills, they are also building trust with care givers and confidence as learners.

We provide opportunities to learn while practicing language, movement, problem solving, and socialization through safe, consistent routines and relationships.

Each classroom is thoughtfully designed space. There are many areas to explore each day, including a quiet, natural lighted book area, puzzles, manipulatives, dramatic play, crafts, fine motor, letter and number recognition.

We offer our early learners the comfort and security of routines while respecting each individual’s pace for learning. Our teachers facilitate their independent learning choices and expand their language and social skills.

Teachers value and encourage communication with parents and provide newsletters and daily reports accessible throughout the day on the Brightwheel App. Using the Ounce Scale Program as an observation tool, parents and teachers will collaborate as developmental milestones are captured through observations both at home and in a natural playtime classroom setting. Parent/Teacher conferences are scheduled twice a year to take the time to discuss and celebrate your child’s independent successes.
